To support insulation in a ceiling or wall, the easiest thing to do is staple string to the joist and run across the underside in a zig zag pattern and back again so the insulation is supported with an X pattern.

You should insulate between joists and over joists wherever possible. Run the layer over the joists cross-ways to make sure no air gaps run through the insulation from the ceiling level.

You can use insulation in interior walls to prevent heat being lost into adjoining rooms. Insulating internal walls will also reduce the amount of noise moving from one room to another.

Installing just one pack of SupaSoft takes 800 plastic bottles out of circulation. Insulating with SupaSoft throughout the loft of an average sized house therefore means that approximately 10,000 bottles will never touch landfill.
